BOSTON (WWLP) - The Healey administration announced that higher education enrollment has returned to pre-pandemic levels.
According to a press release, investments into free community college through Governor Healey's MassReconnect and MassEducate programs drove an 11% enrollment increase this fall, marking a 39% increase since 2022.
Undergraduate student enrollment at Massachusetts two and four-year colleges and universities has also grown 5.7% since last fall, reaching nearly 175,000 students.
