A Coalition minister has called on the Albanese government to fix the revamped taxpayer-funded Bureau of Meteorology website after it was met with heavy criticism.
The website, which received 2.6 billion page views a year, was relaunched last Wednesday but was inundated with criticism of its new features almost immediately.
Experts fear changes in the way storms are presented will make it harder to see hail storms as they approach, while ordinary Australians using the site have complained that the upgrade makes it harder to find their suburb.
