WEST CHESTER, Ohio —

The overpass along I-75 will remain shut down until further notice after a tanker truck carrying diesel fuel overturned and caught fire, sending massive plumes of smoke and flames into the air.

The fire shut down the Union Centre overpass and all exits and off ramps at Union Centre Boulevard in West Chester Tuesday afternoon. Advertisement

The driver of the tanker truck was able to make it out with , escaping as the cab caught on fire.

All lanes on I-75 have since reopened, but Union Centre Boulevard, between Muhlhauser and Cincinnati-Dayton Road, remains closed and will closed through Tuesday night.
