One by one, parents stepped to the mic Tuesday, voicing frustration at the Fort Worth ISD board of trustees during the district’s first meeting since the Texas Education Agency announced plans for a state takeover.

Many parents expressed lingering anger over the district’s decision to close several A-rated schools.
