Police are searching Natchaug State Forest for a missing Mansfield woman.

Anne Marie Pappalardo, 61, was last seen on Sunday, according to the Silver Alert that was issued for her.

Connecticut State Environmental Conservation Police said they, along with state police and other search and rescue crews, are searching the Natchaug State Forest in Eastford, Chaplin and Hampton, according to Connecticut State Environmental Conservation Police and they are asking hunters, anglers, hikers and general park patrons to avoid the state forest area until further notice.

They ask anyone who is approached by state police or EnCon search personnel and ordered to leave the area to cooperate and said it is “essential to the success
