The Odisha Vigilance Directorate has released a performance report covering the period June 12, 2024, to October 27, 2025, highlighting an extensive anti-corruption drive across the state.
Major highlights
302 criminal cases were registered, leading to the arrest of 303 persons, including 90 Class-I officers — among them one IAS officer, seven Chief Engineers, and several senior departmental officials.
Disproportionate Assets (DA) worth ₹212 crore were detected in 80 cases, with ₹9.2 crore in cash and 24 kg of gold seized.
136 trap cases resulted in 161 officials, including 144 government officers, being caught red-handed while accepting bribes totaling ₹35.62 lakh.
