(FOX40.COM) — Officer Timothy Jaekel, 52, from the Lincoln Police Department, was arraigned on Tuesday in Sacramento County Superior Court after being arrested on Oct. 16 for being accused of long-term sexual abuse of children. • Video above: How to report a public safety threat
According to LPD, Jaekel was arrested by the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office following an investigation of allegations that he sexually abused four family members, who were minors at the time of the incident.
On June 23, SCSO received a call from four female family members who reported being sexually abused by their 52-year-old uncle. Deputies spoke to the primary victim, who was an adult living in Arizona.
