JAMESTOWN — Of the 500+ runners who competed at the 2025 Class B State Cross-Country Championships, only 40 got their name on the all-state roster.
The North Dakota High School Activities Association released the 2025 Class B All-State Cross-Country Teams on Tuesday. The cross-country all-state teams consist of the top 20 finishers at the Class B State Championships.
For the boys, Gabe Smith, a freshman out of New Rockford-Sheyenne was the one local athlete who earned a spot on the all-state roster. Smith crossed the finish line at 17 minutes, 44 seconds. The boys race was won by Owen Johnson of Northern Cass. Johnson posted a time of 15:44.
