JAMESTOWN — A trip to Jerry Meyer Arena was worth the price of admission Tuesday night.
Jamestown High School's volleyball team pulled off a stunning 3-1 upset over second-ranked Minot. The third-ranked Blue Jays are now 11-5 in the conference while Minot is 12-4 in the WDA.
Head coach Sara Hegerle and her crew are set to host undefeated Bismarck Century on Thursday. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. The Blue Jays will wrap up the regular season on Nov. 4 at Mandan.
"We went to battle tonight," Hegerle said following the win over Minot. "We needed some confidence after our match last Thursday."
At first, it didn't seem like the Jays had that much confidence.
