SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - The first real cold front of the season will be cooling things down for us. Timing is everything when it comes to late season tropical cyclones and the timing of this front couldn’t be better.
It will not only push Melissa out to sea but will also cool us down for Halloween.
Temperatures will continue to be close to average on Wednesday and then 5-8 degrees below average on Thursday. It will get breezy on Thursday making it feel a bit cooler.
This cool spell will stick around through Sunday morning with lows on Friday in the mid to upper 50’s on Friday and mid 50’s on Saturday. So yes you may need a light jacket on Saturday morning if you are going to be out early.
