ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (KCTV) - One of the stars of the Buffalo Bills will not be on the field Sunday for an AFC Championship Game rematch with the Kansas City Chiefs.
On Tuesday, the Bills placed star defensive tackle Ed Oliver on injured reserve after he tore his bicep during a Week 8 win over the Carolina Panthers. The Bills said Oliver is out indefinitely ahead of Sunday’s game between the 5-3 Chiefs and 5-2 Bills.
With Oliver out, the Bills will turn to a pair of veterans who have years of experience matching up with the Chiefs. On Tuesday, Buffalo announced that practice squad veterans safety Jordan Poyer and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips will be signed to the active roster.
