MACOMB (WGEM) - Republican Norine Hammond announced Tuesday that she had filed her petitions for reelection to the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 94th District.

According to Hammond, she submitted more than twice the required number of signatures.

“Serving the people of Western Illinois has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” Hammond said. “Our region represents the best of Illinois: strong families, faith, and hard work. I will continue fighting to make sure those values are heard in Springfield.”

According to Hammond, she has been one of the leading legislators standing up to Gov. JB Pritzker and working to protect the rural values that define Western Illinois.
