LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- As Election Day approaches next week, the East Lansing City Clerk is reminding voters of important and useful information as early voting begins.
“As we get closer to Election Day, voters should be reminded of their voting options. You have the choice to vote early, vote absentee or vote on Election Day,” East Lansing City Clerk Emily Gordon said. “Our poll workers are excited to see the community come out and exercise their right to vote.”
Gordon says that the city mailed out 5,779 absentee ballots back in September and that, currently, around 2,000 have been returned. if you need to turn in your absentee ballot, the city clerk says you have a few options: • Returning it to one of four city drop boxes: East Lansing City Hall's north parking lot, 410 Abbot Road
