HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — If you live in the Huntsville-metro area, you're probably familiar with the I-65 and I-565 interchange.

While this area may seem like a traffic jam during rush hour to some people, the developers of a new planned community say it's the perfect location, which boasts convenience.

"It's the center of Birmingham and Nashville, you could also argue Chattanooga to Memphis," said David Horwath, President of Land Innovations.

Land Innovations and Rochford Realty LLC are the developers behind a new mixed-use development set to be built on 400 acres just south of I-565 and east of I-65. The land is in an area of southern Limestone County that was recently annexed by the City of Huntsville.
