SRINAGAR : The Jammu Kashmir government has allocated Rs 49.57 crore to ten Municipal Councils across the Kashmir province under the Capex Budget 2025–26. Details provided by the Housing and Urban Development Department, reveal that the Anantnag Municipal Council received the highest allocation of Rs 800.92 lakh, including Rs 645.46 lakh as FC grants and Rs 155.46 lakh for urban development.
Followed by Baramulla with Rs 763.37 lakh, comprising Rs 613.50 lakh as FC grants, Rs 28.87 lakh for urban development and Rs 121 lakh for drainage, while Sopore Municipal Council was sanctioned Rs 717.78 lakh, which
