The first Australian state to outlaw puberty blockers could face a second legal challenge after the transgender community vowed to keep fighting for "life-affirming health care".
The Queensland government has been accused of using children as political footballs after reinstating the hormone therapy ban on transgender kids just hours after it was overturned by a landmark court ruling.
It was a major setback for the transgender community whose joy over the successful Supreme Court challenge in Brisbane was short-lived.

"The LGBTI Legal Service will continue to explore all legal options on behalf of our clients to support trans and gender diverse young people to access the life-affirming healthcare they need,"
