President Droupadi Murmu, the Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces, on Wednesday completed a sortie in a Rafale fighter aircraft at the Ambala Air Force Station in Haryana.

Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh was present at the airbase during the President’s visit. Before the flight, President Murmu was accorded a ceremonial guard of honour, underscoring the significance of the occasion.

This marks President Murmu’s second flight in a combat aircraft, reaffirming her close engagement with India’s armed forces and her symbolic role as their Supreme Commander.
