Hours after the killing 68-year-old Indian-origin businessman Darshan Singh Sahasi in Canada, a social media post surfaced from an account linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claiming responsibility for the attack.

The post, allegedly made by Goldy Dhillon, a known associate of the Bishnoi syndicate, accused Sahasi of being involved in the drug trade and claimed the gang had demanded money from him. When he “refused to pay and blocked our number,” the post said, “we took revenge.”
