MPR News live programming is heading west this week to the Fargo-Moorhead area. We will be talking agriculture and marking the retirement of reporter Dan Gunderson.
On Wednesday and Thursday, All Things Considered host Clay Masters will broadcast live from our Moorhead bureau from 3 to 6 p.m.
At 9 a.m. on Thursday, MPR News guest host Catharine Richert will be in Moorhead talking about the loss of the soybean market and what’s next for Minnesota farmers as they struggle to turn a profit. Richert will talk with Thom Peterson, the commissioner of agriculture for Minnesota, and Neil Rockstad, a farmer near Ada, Minn., who is also president of the American Sugarbeet Growers Association.
Thursday night, join Richert for an in-person discussion with Gunderson at 7 p.m. at the RiverHaven Event
