New Delhi: A driverless car called WIRIN (Wipro-IISc Research and Innovation Network) has been unveiled in Bengaluru. The project is a joint effort by Wipro, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and RV College of Engineering. A short 28-second video showing Sri Sri 1008 Satyatma Theertha Sripadangalu of Uttaradi Matha sitting inside the car has gone viral on social media.

The video, shared by Adarsh Hegde ( @adarshahgd ) on X, shows the seer calmly seated as the car moves smoothly around the RV College campus without a driver. The vehicle uses self-driving technology developed in India. Although it is still being tested, a full launch is expected soon. The team is currently studying Indian road conditions to make sure the car can run safely and reliably once it is ready.
