WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Voters in the Carthage Central School District approved a $90 million capital project Tuesday.

On Proposition 1, 679 people voted yes, and 408 said no.

On Proposition 2, 590 said yes, and 501 said no.

This comes after the project was modified following voters’ rejection last December.

In a statement, Superintendent Jennifer Premo said, “With this approval, our District can move forward with the full plan our community helped shape, one that addresses essential building repairs, modernizes learning spaces, strengthens safety and security, enhances technology, and improves energy efficiency across all schools.”
