Denisha is a 3rd-grade teacher at Pollocksville Elementary School in Jones County.

Denisha has 17 years of experience in elementary education and says she loves bringing creativity, compassion and energy to her classroom every day.

Inspired by her family, Denisha says she started working in the school system as a TA and has not looked back.

Within the classroom, Denisha says she strives to create an environment where her students feel valued and supported, even through the mistakes and mishaps.
