BRANFORD, Fla. (WCJB) - For the third straight year, the Branford Lady Bucs volleyball team is punching their ticket to State after another regional showdown with rival Union County, and after dropping the first set, they rattled off three dominant sets. This is the first time for head coach Lachelle Sikes, the daughter of Mendy Sikes, who led Branford to state for the last two years.
Also, for the first time since 2022, the Williston Red Devils advanced to state after handling business against second second-seeded Moore Haven in four sets.
Meanwhile, in Class 2A. Trinity Catholic’s season ends in four sets to top-seeded Orangewood Christian and they finish with a 16-11 record.
