A 49-year-old man who died after being crushed while working at a scrap recycling yard in Westport earlier this month was remembered in his obituary as a great husband and father.
Mark Evan Peters, of Taunton, died on Oct. 10 after an incident at the recycling yard that left him with a crushing injury to his lower extremities, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s office.
Peters was with his wife, Grace, for 22 years and married for 17. The obituary described his son, who was born 13 years ago, as his “best bud.”
“Mark was the kind of guy that wore the PJs for the holiday photo shoot and was always up for the family Halloween costume,” the obituary reads.
