BOURBON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - After months of sightings and near-misses, the Bourbon County Sheriff’s Office says the county’s most “elusive dog” has finally been caught.

The sheriff’s office says the dog had become somewhat of a local celebrity, often seen around Bourbon County Schools, McDonald’s, and Circle K, but always managing to escape capture.

That streak ended overnight when the four-legged fugitive reportedly broke into the Bourbon County Schools Fieldhouse.
