BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A 33-year-old Birmingham man has been identified as a homicide victim.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office says Monderrius McClellan was shot in the 1400 block of Mayfield Avenue SW. He died in the 1900 block of 12th Place SW a short time later.

Birmingham Police are investigating the shooting death.
