BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - As Halloween night approaches, safety officials are urging drivers and parents to keep a close eye out for trick-or-treaters across central Alabama.
AAA Alabama spokesperson Clay Ingram says the biggest key to staying safe this Friday is awareness — whether you’re behind the wheel or walking from house to house.
He says drivers should slow down and stay alert for children crossing the street, and those celebrating Halloween should plan ahead before heading out to any parties.
