Inquests into the deaths of two men in the Manchester synagogue terrorist attack have been opened and adjourned.
At a brief hearing at Manchester Coroner's Court on Wednesday, the Chief Coroner of England and Wales, Her Honour Judge Alexia Durran, sent her sincere condolences to the family and friends of Melvin Cravitz and Adrian Daulby.
Mr Cravitz, the court was told, was attacked by terrorist Jihad Al-Shamie with a knife outside Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Crumpsall, north Manchester, on October 2. He was described as a worshipper on the day of the attack.
Giving evidence, Detective Chief Superintendent Lewis Hughes, from Greater Manchester Police , said Al-Shamie got out of his car, a black-coloured Kia Picanto, then made 'stabbing motions' towar
