CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - A question about directions leads to a weapon investigation in Cape Girardeau.
According to police, a victim told officers they were threatened with a gun on Tuesday night, October 28.
The victim said they were on the 2100 block of William Street around 11 p.m. when two males asked them for directions.
During the interaction, the victim said that one of the male suspects became upset and pulled out a gun from his waistband and threatened them with it.
The victim then retreated into a nearby convenience store and the two suspects reportedly left the scene.
Police said no arrests have been made, but the investigation is ongoing.
