OXFORD, Miss. - The legal drama continues to unfold for Lindsey Whiteside, a former youth pastor in DeSoto County, who admitted to the sexual battery of a minor.

On October 13, Whiteside was sentenced to house arrest and supervised release after she entered a guilty plea to the felony charge, igniting a firestorm of backlash in the community. Now she’s facing federal charges for a similar crime: transporting a minor over state lines for sexual purposes.
