YORKTON — A visit to Yorkton by Saskatchewan men’s health advocate Christopher Merasty has been postponed.

Merasty was scheduled to be at the Gallagher Centre's west meeting room Oct. 30 to deliver his speech, The Silent Emergency. But an email on Oct. 28 said the event had to be shelved due to "unforeseen circumstances".

Merasty is a speaker, advocate and men’s wellness consultant. The focus of his talk in Yorkton would have been current issues facing men and boys.

He is also the founder of the Men of the North organization.

A new date and details are to be announced soon.
