CARROLL Co., Ill. (KWQC) - A secure procedure is in place at West Carroll schools due to a threatening social media post, officials say.
School officials said at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday they were made aware of a threatening social media post directed at West Carroll schools.
Due to the safety concern, officials said West Carroll schools are on a secure procedure meaning no one is allowed in or out without office approval.
A student resource officer and the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department are investigating.
Officials said the building is secure and all students are safe.
