Candy Warehouse, a Texas-based national candy distributor that has specialized in the sale of bulk candy and snack products since 1998, has filed for bankruptcy. The company’s voluntary Chapter 11 filing occurred just one week before Halloween.
The brand, which has served hotels, resorts, hospitals, theme parks, restaurants, candy shops and event planners for close to three decades, selling classic candies like Chuckles, Bit-O-Honey, DOTS, Snickers and M&Ms, listed $100,000 to $1 million in assets in the filing and $1 million to $10 million in liabilities.
