LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Police are out with a warning ahead of Halloween after an investigation in Metro Detroit led to the discovery of drug-laced products that looked like regular products.
Warren police officials on Monday said detectives carried out a search warrant last Thursday as part of an investigation and “discovered items resembling candy and chips, which actually contained THC and psilocybin mushroom products.”
While officials did not say what prompted the investigation, officers found several bags of chips, snacks and candy that “appeared to be in standard packaging.”
