ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Rochester City School District employee has been arrested and charged following a months-long investigation into an incident involving alleged force against a child.
According to the Rochester Police Department, on April 9, officers responded to a residence and were informed by a parent of a 5-year-old child, that a School #7 employee had allegedly used excessive force against the child.
Following an investigation into the claims by police detectives arrested 54-year-old Katherine Gibble on October 22.
Gibble has since been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and given an appearance ticket.
She is scheduled to appear in the Rochester City Court to answer the charges at a later date.
