ENFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - Emergency crews responded to a crash in Enfield on Wednesday.

Firefighters were called to Hazard Avenue near the entrance to Brookside Plaza after a report of a collision involving three vehicles, the Enfield Fire District said.

When crews arrived, they found several damaged vehicles at the scene.

First responders were able to remove one person from a vehicle.

The individual was then transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

No further details were released.
