The Oak Glen Middle School seventh- and eighth-grade volleyball teams were honored during Monday’s meeting of the Hancock County Board of Education, after each team earned the Buckeye Mountaineer Conference championship for their grade division. The seventh-grade team earned a season record of 16-1, while the eighth-grade team had a 22-2-2 record. Both teams are coached by Michelle Mehaffey, with Mike Mehaffey and Alexis Swan serving as assistant coaches. — Craig Howell
