Two self-absorbed performances at World Series games in Los Angeles recently had nothing to do with the Blue Jays and everything to do with thoughtless acts of self-promotion.

The appearance of Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, at Game 4 , sporting Dodgers hats, was deplorable. Do they not read the news? Do they not understand that Harry’s dad, King Charles III, is our head of state? Has it gone over their silly heads that Canada is under attack from the U.S. President Donald Trump, who’s destroying our economy and wants us to become the 51st state?

They could have worn Blue Jays gear to send a deafening message that they’re on our side. They fumbled. The Dodgers lost, so the Sussexes likely jinxed them.
