HIBBING, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Federal agents and Lake Superior Drug Task Force were seen raiding two Mexican restaurants in Hibbing early Wednesday afternoon.

Officers could be seen at La Tequila Taco shop at 1818 Third Ave. East, around 1 p.m.

According to the Hibbing Police Department, Hibbing officers assisted the Lake Superior Drug Task Force with a warrant at the restaurant.

Northern News Now crews on scene spoke with a staff member at La Tequila Taco shop, who stated that officials detained people without papers, a cook from the restaurant, and a family member.

Around 1:50 p.m., a person outside the restaurant was seen in a verbal dispute with officers.

Also, around 1:50 p.m., Hibbing Police and Sheriff were seen leaving the scene.
