TOWN OF CLAY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — You ask, we answer!

We have an update out of Clay that will make you and your wheels happy. CSX is repairing more rough railroad crossings.

Right now, the crossing on Henry Clay Boulevard, near Clay Central Park and Wetzel Road, is being repaired.

The road closed earlier this week.

A CSX spokesperson said crews are paving at the crossing, and they hoped to have it back open Thursday, October 30th.

Once those repairs are made, crews will focus their attention on the crossing on Route 31, next to Freight Yard Brewing, and not far from Caughdenoy Road.

According to CSX, a new panel will be installed.
