A father who shot and killed the mother of his two young daughters in Berlin, N.H. in 2024, was convicted of murder Tuesday, prosecutors said.
Dustin Duren , was found guilty of second degree murder, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, and endangering the welfare of the children, New Hampshire Attorney General John M. Formella’s office said.
The verdict was reached in Coos Superior Court after a six-day jury trial, the statement said.
Duren was charged with murdering Caitlyn Naffziger after shooting her in the head on Feb. 29, 2024, while she was in Duren’s apartment, prosecutors said.
Duren and Naffziger had been in a relationship and were the parents of two young girls, according to previous Globe reports .
