A metro man is alive thanks to the quick actions of Good Samaritans. A mother and son jumped into action to save the unresponsive driver from a burning truck in Choctaw over the weekend.
A normal Sunday afternoon turned into a life-saving mission for Airman Roy Langford and Lisa Steward.
"It was surreal and we were at the right place, at the right time," said Steward.
They saw flames coming from a truck that crashed into a metal building near northeast 10th and Henney Road. The Air Force police officer's training immediately kicked in.
"I didn't even think about someone being in the truck," said Langford. "I just ran to the truck."
The fire was not the only danger.
