CHESTERFIELD, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office is offering a $2,500 reward for information about who killed a 13-year-old in January 2024.

On Jan. 26, 2024, 13-year-old Jacob Duncan was killed after being struck in a drive-by shooting that occurred on Bennett Road in the Pageland area. Investigators say he was standing on his front porch, and the bullet wasn't meant for him.

Now the sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in finding those responsible for the killing.

“Someone in the community knows what happened, and we need your help to bring answers and justice to Jacob’s family. Even the smallest detail, something you saw, heard, or heard others talk about could make the difference in solving this case,” they wrote.
