CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The College of Charleston announced Wednesday the opening of a new center meant to encourage student growth and healthy connections.
The Center for Intentionality first opened on Sunday at 159 Rutledge Avenue, made possible by Charleston philanthropist and businessman Ben Navarro.
Navarro teaches an intentionality course at the College, created from his experiences and years of observing highly successful individuals. The course coincides with the school's Intentionality Club.
Navarro's intentionality course teaches students how to build better habits, power their bodies, manage their minds, and find community. Students who complete the class are set to help design and manage programs to be offered at the new center.
