LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) — Eastbound drivers on Cornhusker Highway can catch a glimpse of an interesting billboard near 14th Street tucked behind a smattering of trees.

The billboard is advertising the Greenlight Dispensary in Rock Port, Missouri — about an hour and a half drive from Lincoln.

Marijuana, though decriminalized, remains illegal in Nebraska — but advertising it across the state line isn’t. The same billboards are up around Lincoln and Omaha.

It is an odd sight considering the recent lengths Nebraska has gone to keep recreational marijuana out of people’s hands.
