NEW ALBANY, Ind. — If you've driven State Street in New Albany, you've probably passed John Fogel's house, decorated for every holiday. For the upcoming Halloween, this year's theme is Beetlejuice. These holiday decorations are his last. Fogel's family said he passed away Monday after finding out about a month ago that he had stage four colon cancer.
His nieces Kasey Johnson and Nikki Thompson are now hearing stories of their uncle who touched so many. "It was everybody just saying how every time that they'd pass this house, that it would brighten their day and make him feel really good," Johnson said.
