MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A man wanted for attempted murder in a weekend shooting in Memphis was captured by the Memphis Safe Task Force at a West Memphis Motel.
The U.S. Marshals Service said Johnny Miller, 28, was taken into custody Wednesday morning at the Super 8 Motel during the multi-agency operation.
Miller was charged with two counts of criminal attempted first-degree murder, two counts of employing a firearm with intent to commit a felony, and one count of reckless endangerment in connection with a shooting on Sunday in the 3000 block of Spottswood Avenue.
"This arrest reflects the speed at which justice can and will be served through the collaborated efforts of the Task Force," said Deputy U.S. Marshal Addison Friedman.
The victim was critically wounded, but police have not said what
