PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District Thomas Jefferson T-STEM Early College High School is the first PSJA high school to be named a 2025 Lone Star Ribbon school.

The campus was recognized with a special presentation in the school's cafeteria on Wednesday.

"We are one of 28 schools that were recognized in the state of Texas by Governor Abbott," said Dr. Sandra Garza, Principal for PSJA Thomas Jefferson T-STEM Early College High School. "It is very special to us because this year marks the 110th anniversary of this high school, and so we're very excited and very proud to be getting this accolade."
