WASHINGTON — Seven weeks after the expiration of President Donald Trump's federal surge over the District, the DC Council held a hearing intended to address concerns about potential human rights violations due to ongoing cooperation between the District and federal agencies.
Mount Pleasant resident Tyler Sylvester says that on Oct. 23, he was arrested after heckling federal agents who were working alongside local law enforcement officers. "I started heckling them, telling them that they're not welcome in my city, to get the 'f' out," he told WUSA9.
