An Oakland County commissioner is asking law enforcement to investigate a now-canceled contract between the county and a firm owned by a county employee.
A spokesperson for the Oakland County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Michael Spisz, the top Republican on the county board, filed a complaint Wednesday, seeking a formal probe into a $450,000 service contract with an information technology staffing company founded and owned by a member of the county's IT Department.
